What is Cost of Energy?
Cost of Energy (CoE) is the complete cost of running an energy asset, including power tariffs, transfer fees, energy tax, fixed fees and feed-in tariffs. Spot price alone represents only a fraction of your actual energy costs. Optimising for CoE instead of spot price alone can unlock substantial savings across your entire asset portfolio.
Do I need to understand energy tariffs to use Engrate?

Which countries and markets do you support?
Cost of Energy covers all 170+ Swedish DSOs. Query by coordinates, DSO name, Metering Grid Area, or address. BRP Services covers Germany, the Netherlands, and Sweden. More markets are continuously being added.
What data do I need to provide?
Energy consumption and production data in 15-minute intervals, your grid subscription details, and (for higher voltage assets) subscribed power and reactive power. Engrate handles all the tariff logic, DSO lookups, and calculations.
